My family and close community are very troubled by the implementation of Flock in our community and nationwide.
Flock is unregulated and tracks innocent everyday Hoosier citizens under the guise of localized security. It's disturbing that our elected officials would allow warrantless tracking of our vehicles, and open up us to already multiple documented instances of abuse of our data. This is massive threat to our privacy as Hoosiers and is further intensified by Flock’s decision to hide officer identities in audit logs, effectively stripping away public accountability and generating corporate profit by compromising our constitutional freedoms.
We we urge you to pass a moratorium on further deployment of Flock devices and alike in the public, and to quickly pass strong legislation that regulates the use of these devices.
