Both the Housing Bill and and the America the Beautiful Act are two good pieces of legislation. The addition of the Veteran's portion in the Housing Bill is also a nice example of bipartisan work. However, the Housing Bill being used to blackmail legislators for the bill to rob people of their votes is despicable. Also, the backlog of repairs is being driven right now by this administration taking monies for ridiculous projects around DC. One of those being openly discussed is destruction of the historic cherry trees for a trump golf course. There has to be a way to stop that destruction as well as to stop the "arch" or unnecessary "ballroom". Please do not let this President continue to undermine these bills for which both Senators do deserve credit.
