Transparency and Accountability in the Jeffrey Epstein Case
To: Sen. Budd, Sen. Tillis
From: A verified voter in Charlotte, NC
January 25
I am writing as a concerned North Carolina constituent to urge your continued oversight and support for the full release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
This case represents a profound failure to protect vulnerable people—and a long-standing concern that powerful individuals were insulated from accountability. Transparency is essential, not only for the victims, but for restoring faith in our justice system.
I respectfully ask that you:
• Advocate for the prompt release of all unclassified Epstein-related documents
• Push for clear explanations of what remains unreleased and why
• Support congressional oversight to ensure DOJ compliance
Conservatives have long stood for limited government, accountability, and the idea that justice should be blind. Allowing secrecy to linger in a case involving extreme abuse and elite privilege undermines those values.
Sunlight is not radical. It is necessary. The American people can handle the truth—and deserve it.
Thank you for representing North Carolina. I hope you will stand firmly for transparency and equal justice under the law.
