You’ve condemned the violence of January 6 and have said you don’t rubber-stamp every nominee, regardless of who’s president. You’ve also said you were excited for Trump to stop the weaponization of the judicial branch. But Trump has picked people who’ve done the opposite—deepening that weaponization. Ed Martin is one of them. He didn’t storm the Capitol, but he was there that day, marched with the crowd, legally defended multiple January 6 defendants—including a Proud Boy—and hosted a banquet honoring a convicted rioter and Nazi sympathizer. You have some responsibility for the chaos these people have fueled. This is your chance to have a backbone and finally draw a line. Don’t vote for Ed Martin.
