Talking to my teenager last night, she mentioned that she wondered if any of the ‘people in power’ ever took an objective look at what legacy their current actions were forging. This week you all have an opportunity to forge a legacy rooted in democracy and the true balance of powers by either talking to your colleagues or voting against further expansion and extension of funding for I.C.E., which is currently operating extra-judicially while committing murders against non-violent observers and protestors. Please stop this insanity by opposing further funding without massive reform. Leave the best legacy you can.
