I strongly urge you to vote against the Antisemitism Awareness Act. While antisemitism and discrimination of any kind are deplorable, this act is not trying to end discrimination. Rather, it is trying to make it illegal for Americans to exercise their First Amendment right to protest a foreign government, namely Israel. If we as Americans have the right to protest our OWN government, how can that same government turn around and try to make it illegal for us to protest OTHER governments? It's nonsensical, and blatantly unconstitutional. Don't waste our taxpayer money by signing on to something that will never survive a legal challenge. Don't be a shill for a foreign government, like you've accused your political opponents of being. Think for yourself and protect your constituents' right to do the same.
