I am contacting the Governor's office to express my urgent concern regarding the federal government's recent actions concerning data access for immigration purposes. I believe Governor Ferguson must utilize his executive authority to safeguard Washington residents' fundamental rights. These rights, including protection from employment discrimination, secure access to healthcare services, and the ability to obtain a driver’s license – often a necessity for securing employment within our state – are currently threatened by the federal government's actions.
