The unprecedented level of corruption, self dealing, and power consolidation in this Trump Administration makes Nixon's time in office look like child's play. This has all happened fairly openly, as Republicans who control both the House and Senate openly support Trump and his administration. By refusing to use your Congressional power and Constitutional mandate to stop this administration's unlawful behavior, Republicans have lost all credibility as a political party. You have gone from being the Grand Old Party to being sycophants and lap dogs of the current President. Shame on you all. This is no longer about the party we vote for, but about preserving democracy. The Republican party is allowing and often aiding Trump in tearing this country down around our ears. This will be your legacy.
