U.S. military wastes tax money on attacking a U.S. Customs drone. Sorry, WHAT?

I am writing today to ask a very serious question. Who’s on first…? Remember that sketch? It was funny back then. It would be funny today, if it weren’t so pertinent to current events.
El Paso air space was once again shut down last evening. Why? And what does that have to do with an old comedy skit? Well, I’ll tell you.
Last evening, the United States military used a laser weapon to shoot down a drone over El Paso. And not just any drone. A United States customs and border patrol drone. I’ll let you sit with that for a moment.
Our United States military shot down a drone that the United States owns. A drone that cost our tax payers unspeakable amounts of money.
So. My question to you is- has Donald Trump run out of enemies to harass and destroy? Is he now angry with the very forms of terrorism that he himself fastidiously supports? What are our tax dollars paying for, exactly. And- for the love of all things American- ARE WE GREAT AGAIN YET?
