Do not vote reduce or eliminate retirement benefits for federal employees.

To: Sen. Alsobrooks, Rep. Harris, Sen. Van Hollen

From: A constituent in White Hall, MD

May 22

The proposed cuts to Federal Employee Retirement System benefits for current employees are concerning. These benefits were promised as part of the compensation package when these public servants accepted their positions. Reducing or eliminating earned benefits would undermine the government's ability to recruit and retain a talented workforce dedicated to serving the American people. I urge you to uphold the commitments made to federal workers and reject any cuts that would diminish the retirement security they have diligently worked toward over their careers.
