As your constituent I am asking you to please support the TERM Act, imposing term limits on Supreme Court justices. We desperately need predictability on the Court. We are supposed to have non partisan Justices that interpret the Constitution to fit into our modern country. We are not supposed to have Justices that prop up a specific administration or allow laws that are critical to our Democracy to be struck down. We need a way to prevent the justices from being influenced by corporate money. We need Justices that aren't tied to a political party or their own ideologies. We need Justices that are not so old by the time the retire or die in their positions that they inevitably keep our country in bygone eras of thinking. The majority of Supreme Court Justices literally just overturned voting laws that will set our country back to the Jim Crow era when black people did not have a voice in our country. Aside from that not aligning with most Americans' reality or vision for this country, my grandchildren could still be living under this outdated reality 100 years after the Civil Rights Movement took place. If we do not change now, our country will go the way of Authoritarians, and this great experiment we call the United States of America will crumble and fall to ruin.
