**Ban Flock Safety ALPR Cameras and End Warrantless Mass Surveillance** Take action to ban or strictly regulate automatic license plate reader (ALPR) cameras like those sold by Flock Safety before this surveillance infrastructure becomes impossible to dismantle. These cameras are already tracking, logging, and sharing the movements of law-abiding residents without a warrant — and the data flows into a nationwide database accessible to any law enforcement agency with a Flock contract, with virtually no oversight. This isn't hypothetical harm. ICE has used Flock to pursue immigrants without warrants. Kansas police used ALPR data to target a man who wrote a critical op-ed about the department. A Colorado woman was wrongfully accused of theft based on a Flock hit, and a mother and her children were held at gunpoint because the cameras misread a plate. These aren't edge cases — they're the predictable result of handing powerful surveillance tools to agencies with no meaningful accountability. The cameras catalog not just license plates but make, model, color, bumper stickers, and scratches — building a detailed picture of where every driver goes, which doctors they see, which houses of worship they attend, which protests they show up to. My community never consented to this. I want you to oppose any expansion of ALPR contracts and support legislation that bans or tightly restricts their use.
