Hello, Representative Miller-Meeks. A longtime member of our community, Fatou Traore, was detained on her way to work. Fatou has lived more than 20 years in our community. She is a mother, including of a 3-year-old. Mothers should be with their children. They are trying to deport her to a third country she doesn't know and has never been to. None of us benefits from her deportation — not Iowa, not our country, and certainly not her family. As our representative, you have the power to help Fatou return to her family, her community, and her job. PLEASE stand up for Fatou. Thank you.
