Donald Trump cannot be allowed to unilaterally destroy the Kennedy Center. I am deeply disturbed by the sworn statement of a witness yesterday that a forklift was repeatedly ramming one of the pillars, ostensibly to make it structurally unsound so that Trump's lies about it "falling apart" become true. I'm also concerned by photos of him on Air Force One apparently reviewing demolition plans. Donald Trump has absolutely no right to touch that building. It is disgusting that he is holding it hostage for the sake of his own vanity, particularly at a time when there are so many problems -- largely of his creation -- that he ought to be focusing on. His narcissism is absolutely out of control, and it's up to Congress to check it.
