I’m a constituent from Spearfish. I recently returned from Taiwan, where I experienced firsthand how safe, accessible biking and public transportation can transform daily life. It left me deeply disheartened to see how far behind the U.S. has fallen in these areas, despite our resources. I'm reaching out to ask Rep. Dusty Johnson to support funding for the Transportation Alternatives Program, safe streets and roads projects, and active transportation projects like bicycle infrastructure. I also ask that he support the bipartisan Sarah Debbink Langenkamp Act to expand federal funding opportunities for local traffic safety initiatives. We all benefit from safer roads.
