Petition to Members of United States Congress Recent public statements by Donald Trump praise U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as the strongest and most efficient enforcement force in the nation. If those claims are true, then Congress must confront a logical question: why are these agents stationed in American neighborhoods rather than deployed where the nation claims to face military threats? For years, ICE has been expanded, funded, and militarized while communities across the country endure aggressive raids, detention abuses, and the erosion of civil liberties. Yet the same officials who champion ICE’s supposed toughness also argue that American forces are needed abroad—particularly in conflicts connected to Iran and the broader legacy of the “Epic Fury” War. If ICE agents are truly the most formidable and capable force available, Congress should draft them into overseas military operations immediately. Let the people who boast about their strength prove it on an actual battlefield rather than against unarmed immigrants, families, and workers inside the United States. American streets are not war zones. Immigrant communities are not enemy combatants. 🚫 Federal resources should not be spent terrorizing civilians while lawmakers simultaneously claim the nation faces grave foreign threats. ⚖️ Therefore, we call on Congress to: 1. End the domestic militarization carried out by ICE. 2. Redirect federal enforcement personnel away from civilian communities. 3. If leaders insist on escalating foreign conflict, require the very agencies they praise for their strength to shoulder that burden. Congress cannot continue applauding aggressive domestic enforcement while sending other Americans to fight abroad.
