Co-sponsor and publicly support S.4214 the "Artificial Intelligence Data Center Moratorium Act." It is my understanding that the Artificial Intelligence Data Center Moratorium Act, introduced by Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, in March 2026, would pause construction and upgrades of AI data centers until federal safeguards are enacted to regulate AI safety, protect workers, and address environmental impacts. Demand that the data center industry abide by and prove they are meeting or exceeding clean energy standards with third-party unbiased audits. Have reasonable and enforceable solutions and consequences established in advance if they should fail. Demand and establish an oversight committee to oversee that the corporations are covering their own costs of utility infrastructure and not citizens. Co-sponsor and publicly support S.4214 the "Artificial Intelligence Data Center Moratorium Act."
