I am writing as your constituent to urge you to take immediate action to remove Donald Trump from the presidency, whether through impeachment under Article II or by supporting invocation of the 25th Amendment. President Trump’s recent conduct toward Iran is deeply alarming. His erratic threats, inflammatory rhetoric, and apparent willingness to escalate toward military conflict without congressional authorization represent a clear and present danger to American lives, our national security, and the stability of the broader Middle East. This is not the behavior of a stable, responsible commander-in-chief. The Constitution grants Congress the authority — and the responsibility — to act as a check on executive power when that power is abused or exercised recklessly. We are at that moment. A president who operates through chaos, intimidation, and unchecked aggression is a threat not just to foreign policy, but to the rule of law itself. I urge you to: ∙ Support or initiate impeachment proceedings based on abuse of power and conduct unbecoming the office ∙ Encourage the Vice President and Cabinet to fulfill their constitutional duty under the 25th Amendment if they believe the President is unfit to serve ∙ Cosponsor any legislation or resolution calling for accountability and removal The American people deserve leadership that is measured, lawful, and answerable to the Constitution — not one that lurches toward crisis. History will judge those who had the power to act and chose silence. Please do not be silent.
