The right to reproductive healthcare, including access to safe and legal abortion services, is fundamental to women's autonomy and equality. Attempts to criminalize or severely restrict abortion access represent an unconscionable violation of human rights. We must reject efforts to undermine the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, which affirmed a woman's constitutional right to choose. Instead of regressing, we should focus on expanding access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare and supporting families through policies like paid family leave, affordable childcare, and maternal health initiatives. Protecting reproductive freedom is a moral and public health imperative in a society that values human rights and gender equity.
