Secretary Noem’s Actions Are Un-American—Do Something

To: Sen. Booker, Sen. Kim, Rep. Sherrill

From: A verified voter in Boonton, NJ

May 20

To my representatives, I’m writing to express my deep concern and outrage over the Supreme Court’s May 19 order in Noem v. National TPS Alliance. By staying the lower court’s protection for TPS holders, the Court has handed DHS a blank check to invalidate legal immigration documents—including work authorizations—that are valid through 2026. Secretary Noem’s vacatur is an unconscionable attack on families who have lived, worked, and contributed to this country for years. This is not about national security—it’s about power, control, and cruelty. I urge you to speak out and push back. Hold DHS accountable. Demand transparency on how these policies are being implemented. Fight for legislation that strengthens—not weakens—the rights of TPS recipients. Silence in moments like this enables authoritarian creep. I’m asking you to be bold, be loud, and stand up publicly for immigrants whose lives are once again being used as pawns. Thank you for representing us. I will continue to speak up and demand more from every branch of this government. In solidarity,
