This legislation threatens to dismantle the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), jeopardizing the healthcare of over 9 million U.S. military veterans. Rather than strengthening the VHA, this bill would divert critical public funds to the private sector, undermining the specialized care and services that veterans rely on. Our nation has a duty to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to those who have served, and weakening the VHA is not the solution. I urge you to stand against H.R. 740 and protect the integrity of veterans’ healthcare. Please prioritize the well-being of those who have served our country by ensuring they receive the care they deserve within the VHA system. Thank you for your time and consideration.
