Donald Trump made it clear to the American people last night- and at the Easter event with faith leaders (the disastrous speech was deleted shortly after the luncheon)- that he is unfit to be president and that his priorities and character are NOT aligned with democratic values. We don’t seize foreign resources: “We could just take their oil,”…“I’d prefer just to take the oil.” We don’t insult and mock people like when he called Somali people “low IQ” and said Somalia is “the worst country anywhere in the world” where “they just shoot each other all day long.” We don’t give preferential treatment to those who flatter us: “When somebody’s nice to me, I love that person. Even if they’re bad people, I couldn’t care less. I’ll fight to the end for them.” Donald Trump is a total disgrace to our country and is more evident with each day, a danger to world peace and global stability. You and the GOP MUST stop enabling a man that is unfit and unwell. The entire Republican Party is failing to uphold the constitution and YOUR oath. Stop this very clear threat to everything that makes us a great nation.
