A friend of mine met a woman while helping clean up in North St. Louis from the tornado. Mid-20s, 2 kids, her kids’ father was killed by gun violence a few months ago, and her home was destroyed by the tornado. The home was passed down through generations and the deed had never been updated. She was living in her car with her 2 small children. The fact that you are more concerned with funding a couple of billionaire’s pet projects over allocating more funding to disaster victims is abhorrent. You couldn’t walk 2 feet in this woman’s shoes. Shameful.
