I am writing to record my dissent for HR7. I urge you to strike down this resolution and vote NO. This bill is deceptively presented as being pro-women's healthcare, however this is simply window dressing for being a pro-life bill. As a woman, I also object to the phrase that "health care for women should also address the needs of men, families, and communities." My body is NOT community property. My healthcare is between my doctor and I, regardless of whether I have a cold or a pregnancy. This bill uplifts Pro Women's Healthcare Centers, which uses deceptive practices to misinform women of the full range of options available to them in their healthcare. It is inappropriate for the government to give their stamp of approval to this organization, much less adopt their standards of care nationwide.
