Demand Accountability for $136 Trillion in Federal Obligations
To: Justices Court
From: A constituent in Round Lake, IL
March 27
The Treasury Department's latest financial report reveals a staggering reality: our government holds $6.06 trillion in assets against $136.2 trillion in total obligations when you include the $88.4 trillion in unfunded Social Security and Medicare promises. That unfunded obligation jumped by $10.1 trillion in just one fiscal year. This is financial fraud on a massive scale, and those responsible must be held accountable through impeachment proceedings.
In fiscal year 2025, Washington spent $7.34 trillion while collecting only $5.24 trillion in revenue. To put this in household terms, it's like earning $52,446 but spending $73,378 while carrying $1.36 million in debt against $60,554 in assets. No family could survive this. No business could operate this way. Yet our leaders continue this reckless path while the dollar loses 88% of its purchasing power since 1970.
I expect you to support impeachment proceedings against the officials who engineered this disaster. The American people deserve leaders who will be honest about our fiscal situation and take immediate action to restore solvency. Every day of inaction is another day of theft from future generations.
