Investigate Kushner's Conflicts of Interest

To: Rep. Maloy, Sen. Curtis, Sen. Lee

From: A constituent in Salt Lake City, UT

April 17

I'm calling on you to support the House Judiciary Committee investigation into Jared Kushner's conflicts of interest. This is a clear and obvious case of self-serving corruption that demands congressional oversight. Kushner secured $2 billion from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund just six months after Trump left office, plus additional funding from Qatar and UAE. Now he's back negotiating Ukraine-Russia talks, U.S.-Iran policy, and serving on Trump's "Board of Peace" in Gaza without holding any official government position. He's conducting American foreign policy while running a private equity firm bankrolled by the same foreign governments he's negotiating with. This isn't complicated. No one should be allowed to cash in on relationships with foreign governments and then turn around to shape U.S. policy affecting those same countries. The appearance of corruption here is staggering, and the actual corruption is likely worse. Support Ranking Member Jamie Raskin's investigation. Demand the records of Kushner's business dealings, his communications on behalf of the administration, and his contacts with foreign governments. Americans deserve to know whether our foreign policy is being sold to the highest bidder.
