The Election Assistance Committee exists to help states run elections. It is bipartisan by law. Now, thanks to Trump it can no longer function because Trump forced out the commission's remaining members. If the GOP in Congress continue to remain silent, then they will continue to be complicit in the fascist takeover of our government. Americans have the right to free and fair elections. Trump's lies are a danger and a threat to our democracy. It is time for the Republicans in Congress to stop being cowards and to stand up and take our democracy and our Constitution back from one insane, demented, unhinged old man. When is it going to be enough is enough, Senators? When it's too late? History will not be kind to you and you have destroyed your legacies. You will get nothing in return. I hope it was worth it.
