Secretary Kennedy's anti-vaccine misinformation threatens public health - resignation demanded
To: Sen. Budd, Sen. Tillis, Rep. Harrigan
From: A constituent in Winston Salem, NC
April 30
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s remarks promoting vaccine hesitancy and pseudoscientific misinformation constitute a dereliction of duty that directly threatens public health. By irresponsibly advising parents to disregard overwhelming medical consensus in favor of unqualified "research," he undermines critical childhood immunization programs. This enables the resurgence of preventable diseases like measles, which is currently experiencing the worst outbreak in decades with tragic loss of life. Kennedy's baseless insinuations about FDA oversight of vaccine approvals sow distrust in rigorous clinical trials and regulatory processes designed to ensure vaccine safety and efficacy. As the nation's top health official, his willful disregard for scientific facts and promotion of ideological anti-vaccine rhetoric set a dangerous precedent that will only embolden fringe movements opposed to evidence-based policymaking. Kennedy has proven himself unfit to lead efforts safeguarding public welfare and must immediately resign.
