Immigration raids traumatize children, keep families together through reform

To: Sen. Risch, Rep. Fulcher, Sen. Crapo

From: A constituent in Boise, ID

May 9

ICE's enforcement tactics in Worcester tore apart a family by arresting a mother in front of her teenage daughter and infant child. Despite neighbors' protests and demands for a warrant, the agents forcibly restrained the teenage daughter, slamming her face into the ground as she tried to stop their vehicle. This traumatic incident has devastated the community and underscored the urgent need to uphold due process for all people and end mass deportations that inflict severe harm, especially on children. Reform is essential to prevent such cruel separations of families.
