Steven Miller is lying and he know it. Stop vilifying struggling families!

Steven Miller - "The way most welfare works in most states and most places is we take your word for it. If you file a piece of paper, and you say your kids are hungry, you are going to get food stamps. We don't check." This is a lie, designed to deflect anger away from this administration and its leaders. They would rather you be angry at hungry kids instead. To apply for SNAP in GA, for instance, you need to provide the following information about yourself and all household members - * Proof of Identity * Date of Birth * Social Security Number * Citizenship or immigration status * Employment status and income * Criminal background, if any * Proof of household income * Proof of household expenses The application is 20 pages long at https://dfcs.georgia.gov/document/document/297/download
