I support impeaching President Trump for his outrageous proposal to "take over" the Gaza Strip and displace 1.8 million Palestinians. His comments were widely condemned as ethnic cleansing and threaten to derail the fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas after over a year of war. Trump's lack of details on the legal authority for such an action, as well as the resettlement plans, show a reckless disregard for human rights and international law. A president who would so brazenly advocate for ethnic cleansing has committed a high crime that shocks the conscience and warrants impeachment and removal from office. I urge you to stand against Trump's dangerous demagoguery by supporting the articles of impeachment.
