I’m writing to express my concern for Senate bill 56. In 2023, Ohioans overwhelmingly voted to legalize recreational marijuana in the state. The proposed bill not only completely undermines the democratic process, but disrespects the people who elected officials to act on their behalf at the state level. I am asking you to veto this bill if it makes it to your desk. Ohio voted for something, you have no right to take it away from us. Doing so would be a gross abuse of power!
