An Open Letter

To: Sen. Tillis, Sen. Budd

From: A constituent in Raleigh, NC

November 20, 2025

Regarding the Epstein files: Trump during his campaign: I will release the files! Trump wins: Bondi says "the files are on my desk". Then there are no files. Then there are files BUT they're a Democratic hoax. Then the Republicans decide to release the files. Then the Republicans say we can't release the files because of an ongoing investigation. Or they release the files with Trump's name redacted. Republicans have to know that no matter what, the truth will come out. But the way the Trump administration and the Republicans in Congress have handled this is beyond ridiculous and stupid and it makes every single Republican who is in those files look more guilty than they already did. Pathetic.
