Please just support SB 79. Los Angeles is in a dire housing crisis and also has a massive budget hole right now. We need more people to be able to afford to live in LA, to help pay taxes and close the revenue gap. Starting legal action against California to stop the implementation of SB 79 is not only a foolish use of limited taxpayer funds, but also likely to lose and not advance housing goals. I urge you to work with the state on SB 79 implementation instead of wasting time and money to cater to people that want to see our city broke and stuck in amber.
