ICE out of our Communities

To: Gov. Stein

From: A constituent in Charlotte, NC

January 7

I am asking that you do everything within your power as governor to protect your constituents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE is unjustly targeting immigrants in a racist and xenophobic manner, causing great harm to communities. A persons status as an immigrant, whether documented or not, should not determine if they should be treated humanely, or if they deserve human rights and dignity. Every single person, every single immigrant, deserves to feel safe in their homes and communities. The actions of ICE go against everything that America should stand for. Please, do not allow ICE to further disrupt and hurt our immigrants, their families, friends, and neighbors.
