I'm writing to ask that you deploy our national guard to protect our people from ICE. ICE has been terrorizing our country and recently there has been an uptick in attacks around the US and in Maryland. We cannot live like this. We don't want our teachers attacked at special needs schools or ICE coming onto public school property and delayed chemicals on students. We don't want mothers shot in the head when she was simply observing what ICE was doing to her neighbors. We don't want to worry that our friends and neighbors will be kidnapped and we don't know what has happened to them. Deploy the National guard now. Work with your fellow governors to issue a warning that all ICE will have severe legal consequences. Issue a new law that all Maryland law enforcement will protect Marylanders not ICE. Develop an ICE app for constituents to report ICE.
