I voted for Recreational Cannabis, and so did the overwhelming majority of Ohians., including home cultivation of 12 plants per house and a specific taxable amount on the sales of cannabis. it's unconstitutional and, frankly, utterly fascist to directly roll back the will of YOUR people, and YOUR voters. To see such blatant majority support for a program, only to have it altered and changed to what is very clearly political greed and a complete disregard for the will of the people is not okay. Increasing the pricing and lowering the amount someone can possess within their home, funneling more demand to the black market, making law abiding home growers become criminals within one harvest due to the weight limits - all of these things are ridiculous steps to take when YOU already know what your constituents want. Retaining the safe practices of distribution in our state is very important to not only keep the movement of safe cannabis controlled, but also to discourage people taking revenue to other states.
In the event that this progress is rolled back, I will be using all of my networking abilities to find support, gather signatures, and vote out any representation that doesn't respect the will of the people. WE voted you in, and we WILL vote you out if you pass this legislation
