Pete Hegseth is not the God of War. His actions throughout his service as secretary have been questionable at best, but his latest shenanigans require congressional intervention immediately. He cannot go around firing generals and officers because he feels like it (most likely because they investigated the army helicopter pilots who visited Kid Rock’s home). He cannot promote officers based on race and gender so the department of defense has new marginalized persons to attack and defame. He cannot unilaterally run a military based on a plan to fail. This is all a setup. What happens when it fails? Trump will say he has to take personal control of the U.S. military. We know the plan. We have the guidebook. Project 25 is moving steadily along. When can we start counting on your objections?
