ICE is out of control and needs immediate congressional oversight. The agency is detaining military spouses at routine immigration appointments while the Trump-Epstein files remain sealed. This looks like a deliberate distraction, and I'm beginning to think that maybe you're in the Trump-Epstein files and that's why you have not done anything. Sergeant First Class Jose Serrano served 27 years and deployed to Afghanistan. ICE arrested his wife Deisy Rivera Ortega at a scheduled legal appointment in El Paso on April 14, despite her having an active work permit and legal protection from deportation to El Salvador. She married Serrano in 2022 and followed every immigration rule. ICE is now threatening to deport her to Mexico, a country where she has zero ties. This isn't an isolated case. ICE detained Annie Ramos, wife of Sergeant Matthew Blank, on his Louisiana military base days after their wedding as he prepared to deploy. In May, they deported Jermaine Thomas to Jamaica even though he was born on a US military base in Germany and has no citizenship anywhere. Veterans defended this country. Their families deserve better than being used as political props. Investigate ICE's targeting of military families and release the Trump-Epstein files. The public deserves transparency, not theater.
