Balls and Strikes SCOTUS style: BALLS: you have the balls to allow Alabama to move forward towards gerrymandering EVEN THOUGH you already determined that they DID discriminate and violate the Voting Rights Act. STRIKE: Virginia ACTUALLY ASKED the voters about redrawing their maps. The vote passed BY THE CITIZENS OF VIRGINIA. This is different than the GOP controlled states who DIDN’T ask their voters and (like Florida) violated their state constitutions to pass new maps. Yet you allowed the VA Supreme Court’s ruling to stand. Golly gee. This sure does seem like the conservatives on the Supreme Court have a VERY partisan rule book that ONLY rules in favor of Republicans. You throw principles and traditions out the window. You ignore your NORMAL 32-day rule waiting period so the GOP states can rush to gerrymander the hell out of their states EVEN if voting has already started (Louisiana). You ignore the Purcell Principle if it would favor Republicans but insist on it if the Democrats might have an advantage. DO NOT PRETEND THAT YOU ARE JUST CALLING BALLS AND STRIKES. DO NOT BEMOAN THE FACT THAT PEOPLE ARE MAD ABOUT YOUR DECISIONS. YOU ARE WILLFULLY STACKING THE CARDS FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND DONALD TRUMP, A WOULD-BE DICTATOR. YOU ARE DESTROYING OUR DEMOCRACY! AMERICANS ARE NOT STUPID!
