I am disappointed and angry that you voted to end the shutdown with nothing more than an empty promise of a future vote on healthcare at some future time. Even if the Senate holds a vote on the ACA subsidies, which I do not trust them to do, Mike Johnson has repeatedly stated he will not hold a vote on the ACA subsidies. After a historic drubbing in the election last week, there was a sense of hope in the air. Then you and the other seven Democrats caved. I understand that people are suffering. But this deal just teaches the Republicans that they can get whatever they want by creating enough suffering. That never ends well. We were in a good position after the election, and you squandered it.
