President Trump has withdrawn the United States from UNESCO which is short sighted and counter productive to improving relations between nations. We need to engage with the world instead of withdrawing from it. Even though the UN doesn’t always agree with our politics, it makes sense to support UNESCO in order to do good in areas of the world that need it and win hearts & minds that might otherwise be influenced by non state actors that wish to do us harm.
