Oppose H.R. 1897, the ESA Amendments Act

To: Rep. Horsford, Sen. Rosen, Sen. Cortez Masto

From: A constituent in North Las Vegas, NV

April 21

I'm asking you to oppose H.R. 1897, the ESA Amendments Act. This bill would gut the Endangered Species Act, one of our most effective conservation laws, and put countless species at risk. The ESA has been instrumental in bringing species back from the brink of extinction across the western United States and beyond. Weakening it now would undermine decades of progress protecting wildlife like Mexican gray wolves, bighorn sheep, and other vulnerable species that depend on intact ecosystems. We need stronger protections for endangered species, not weaker ones. Vote no on H.R. 1897 and stand up for science-based conservation.
