My brother was KIA in Afghanistan May 20, 2012. I’m furious at the Republican and Democratic Party for enabling a disastrous war with Iran. I’m not fooled by your rotating-villain scheme in the House. We have been a threat to Iran for decades. We imposed a dictator on them for nearly 30 years. They were negotiating in good faith while we tricked them and attacked them time and time again. I see my country for what it is, a corrupt cesspool that can’t resist starting wars. Boomers have spent decades dreaming up wars for young people (like my brother) to die in. We should never go to war unless we absolutely need to defend ourselves. We’ve spent decades waging wars of choice. You better not vote for any funding of this illegal war, and I mean it. I’ll view it as a slap in the face to our troops because we all know it’s the American working class and poor who will die, not politicians like you. If terrorist attacks unfold on American soil, I’ll hold you responsible.  I’ll view it as approval for an illegal war that has already killed over a hundred children in Iran. Many others will view it as approval for the war and hold you accountable as well. We are targeting civilians and it makes me sick. The bombing of facilities which caused toxic acid rain will be on you. Hegseth has already stated there will be no rules of engagement and he won’t follow international law. He’s proudly posted this with Mortal Kombat music in the background. You’ll be responsible for every death, and all the damage that’s going to result from this war. I’ll blame you above all else because you’re supposed to be an opposition party. I’ve seen no opposition.
