Hello. As a concerned member of our larger community, I am calling to urge you to stand with students and faculty in calling for Yale administrators to drop the charges against all 53 students, employees, and community members arrested this spring for peacefully protesting Yale’s financial investments in weapons manufacturers.  Yale must listen to the calls of their students and finally disclose and divest all holdings in weapons manufacturers. A university with a $40 billion endowment has better things to do with its money than repress the voices of people calling for justice in Palestine and an end to Yale’s complicity in Israel’s genocide. When can I expect your office to publicly call on the Connecticut State’s Attorney to stop the prosecution of students and local residents demanding divestment? I look forward to seeing you take a stand for peace through justice.
