The American people delivered a huge blue wave last night and put Democrats in charge of the House in January. This is a mandate for PROGRESSIVE action and a mandate to HOLD THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION ACCOUNTABLE and reverse these catastrophic policies. Now is NOT the time for “compromise” or “bipartisanship.” You have been telling us for 2 years that you want to hold Trump accountable but you were in the minority. WELL NOW YOU ARE GOING TO BE IN THE MAJORITY. GO BIG. And the FIRST step is that the House Democrats HAVE to REPLACE HAKEEM JEFFRIES. He is no longer an effective leader. Get someone else in there who will lead boldly and effectively. Today is the day that we need to start planning for the work you will do in the Democratic majority. Don’t disappoint us - your constituents are watching and we will hold you accountable.
