I am writing out of concern for the lawlessness of the SCOTUS-6. All of my life I have understood that the U.S. Supreme Court purpose is to serve as the final arbiter of the law, acting as the highest court in the land and ensuring equal justice under the law. The Court's main objective is to interpret the Constitution and federal laws, protect civil rights and liberties, and ensure that all government actions and laws are consistent with the Constitution through the power of judicial review. It is not to curry favor with billionaires or even the president. This Court continues to misinterpret the laws according to their will, their personal beliefs, to please the President, the heritage foundation and those billionaires who pay for the trips and special services. This Court is a constitutional embarrassment to the American people of these United States. We can no longer be trusted by democracies around the world. They continue to give trump wins regardless of how far down they drag this country. Never did I think the highest court of the land would be as corrupt as this President and maga Congress. Our middle school and high school students studying government could do a better job of interpreting the law and the constitution. To my elected leadership and the Democratic Party as a whole, if you don't stop acting helpless as if the majority aren't supporting you this Country will be near extinction of freedom, liberty, and justice for all people. Trump counts on SCOTUS -6 to uphold his propaganda, hate, disinformation, divisiveness and lawlessness. So far they are slow walk this country into full authoritarianism and lock up elected officials and every person who objects to their ways. While I'm grateful to know my leadership is fighting for Maryland as well as voting in our best interests for democracy sake. Unfortunately too many in congress vote to save their jobs. Each of you serve at the will of your constituents. I think it's time Congress regardless of party return to that conversation because it's obviously they have forgotten why they serve and for whom they serve. We the people should be their first priority, liberty, protecting America's Democracy and working towards peace everywhere including inside the United States of America not just billionaires and millionaires.
