I am gravely concerned for the innocent people in Gaza. There are videos showing children and babies being blown up and burned alive. This is unacceptable. This cannot continue. I have a hard time trying to understand how anyone with a conscience would continue sending weapons to Israel. I realize that AIPAC has changed the dynamics of our democratic society but it should not be like that. Anyone that is getting any money from AIPAC is compromised and not working for the American people but instead, supporting a foreign state. It is no surprise that the members of Congress that have received money from AIPAC, have a very hard time admitting the truth of what is happening in Gaza. It is not a war, that would imply two sides fighting that are formidable enemies. Instead, there is an entire population or what is left of them, starving to death being displaced and living in absolute horror as everything and everyone they know is being eradicated from the face of the Earth. Please stop this. The US has had the power to stop this evil right along, but instead Israel"s government is given more priority than American citizens and really the morality of the entire world. It is sick that we would stand alone and veto the recognition of a Palestinian state. We are really in the midst of some extremely dark times and I , like do many other Americans, am fed up. Where are the morals our country was built upon? Where is the United States to defend the innocent and protect children? Our behavior, as a country, is appalling and disgraceful. I hope and pray to God that there can be some type of resolution that values human life. Please before there is no one left in Gaza. This is not right.
