I’m writing to implore you to stop this snowball of unauthorized activity by Donald Trump. He is wildly unchecked, as is Elon Musk, and who knows who else? Our country was founded on freedom from religion, and freedom from monarchy, but right now, our system of checks and balances within the three branches of government is NOT working. I know that the GOP has ideas that are often opposite from those of the Democrats. The differences used to be focused on how much money was spent on military vs. how much on social programs, for example. And that was understandable. Now, however, the government is moving into the personal beliefs and the physical bodies of its citizens. Or, the government is deciding which humans are worthy of protection, and which humans can be persecuted for existing in the way they are made. This is crossing the line. This goes against the very foundation of our country. Just because you believe something, does not make it true or right for everyone. Just because your religion taught you to think in a particular way, does not make it the only way to believe. Project 2025 is based on extreme conservative views and should NOT be being used to fundamentally deprive US citizens of their independence. Please STOP this hostile takeover of our system of government, before it’s too late.
