I urge you to Oppose HR 1 in the Senate. This bill destroys checks and balances in the government. It raises the national debt by almost 4 trillion dollars. It guts vital social programs. And to add insult to injury it for some unknown reason gives the president nearly unfettered powers against the wishes of the founding fathers and the A merican people. Those "big beautiful bill" is only beautiful to the top 1% of earners and damages the lives of the people you are actually meant to represent, the ones that elected you to office. Billionaires and corporations do not need more tax breaks. The average American does, and this bill is as un-American as it can possibly get. Please vote no.
